Target I: HBCU For Life: A Call to Action / #CAP℠
Through the Signature Program #CAP℠, Psi Lambda Omega Chapter members partner with local high schools to provide assistance to students as they seek admission to both HBCUs and non-HBCUs, by researching the various institutions, preparing for ACT and SAT entrance exams, and identifying available scholarships and other financial aid programs.

Pink Goes Red for a Day
Women's Healthcare and Wellness event held annually each February to bring attention to cardiovascular risk and promote active and healthy lives. All attendees are encouraged to wear red.

Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk event held annually each October to raise awareness on early detection and improve the survival rate of women diagnosed with breast cancer. Psi Lambda Omega Chapter members and volunteers participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Coney Island and raised over $1356 towards Breast Cancer care and prevention.

Pack A Pantry Holiday Food Drive
Pack A Pantry Holiday Food Drive event held annually each November to provide canned food items to local pantries in communities that serve the homeless. This year, Psi Lambda Omega Chapter members and volunteers collected 1,183 food items that were delivered to the Beyond Hunger Emergency
Food Pantry in Flatbush Brooklyn.
Target III: Building Your Economic Legacy - Baby Hugs
Social service program that focuses on improving the lives of newborn babies by providing crocheted, knitted, or new
flame-retardant, hypo-allergenic blankets to babies going home from the neonatal intensive care units of Brooklyn hospitals. Blankets are also donated to infants and toddlers residing in family shelter centers.
Target IV: The Arts! - Kids Paint Fest
Alpha Kappa Alpha's objective to expose students to arts enrichment and culture by focusing on visual and performing arts and by showcasing talent through the exploration of writers, entertainers and various other artists. Psi Lambda Omega Chapter members partner with Antioch Baptist Church in a Kids "Paint Fest" for children ages 4-10; to encourage kids to explore their artistic skills by painting free style art.
The theme is: Every Child is an Artist!
Target V: Global Impact - International Women's Day
Held annually in recognition of International Women's Day, the goal of the program is to educate the community about issues affecting women worldwide and to increase the awareness of participants regarding international communities and/or issues impacting Brooklyn.
Educational Advancement Foundation: A Gospel Affair
Bi-annual event that funds the Avis Daisy Ellison Fellowship/Scholarship. The Fellowship was established with the Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® to provide assistance to students pursuing a math or science career degree.
